Okay, before I get to why I've not posted, let me give you a small tidbit about todays photo. It is of course rain. It's suppose to rain all day, and be cold, cold, cold! I for one can't wait for Spring/Summer because I'm so over all this cold weather!

So I notice I haven't posted anything since Jan 20th. I really want to try to keep up with this, but so much has been going on. My grandmother was placed in the hospital after having a stroke, my dear sweet husband made all my dreams come true, when he bought a Canon Rebel (XS) for V-Day for me, and my "baby" just recently turned 11..

Day 20 / Project 365..

Well we woke up this morning to the white stuff.. Although they got the prediction so wrong! It never fails!! They said this was going to be a "big" storm for us, and that we'd see 4-7 inches of snow.. Which is alot for NC.. People start to freak out, bread and milk go flying off the shelves etc.. In the end we ended up with maybe 2 inches, maybe! Since K didn't have school today (teacher workday) they woke up and was ready to go out and play by 9am.. I wanted photos before the snow melted (and its gone now) so we got them layered in clothes and out we went.. Here is my day 20 photo...

Day 19 / Project 365..

So I have been around, and still taking my photos, but due to family reasons and issues, I've not been able to edit/post them.. I may (or may not) get around to posting them, but I'm gonna keep going with this...

Positive news to report, my brother and his family have moved out!! WOOT!! I do love him, but it was really hard having five extra people in this house..

On to my Day 19 photo... It's SNOWING in NC!! Who'da Thunk It!! LOL.. It snows here, just once every blue moon! School is out tomorrow, due to a teacher workday, so it doesn't make things exciting as far as that is concerned.. But the girls are excited still.. It started shortly after 8pm and is suppose to continue through the night, and all day tomorrow.. By the time its said and done, they say we will have 4-6+ inches.. Something for the girls to play in for a bit.. (Then it can go away!).. I know tomorrow I'm staying in.. People here can't drive in the snow, and just go plain wacko LOL.. Anyway heres my photo for the day.. er um night? LOL

Day 11 / Project 365..

What does 5 screaming kids + 4 adults + Chuck E. Cheese = ????

One big headache! That's what it equals.. Me and my husband, and our girls went to Chuck E. Cheese with my brother, his fiance, and their three kids and my goodness what a time that was! Leaving would have been great, had the kids been able to decide what they wanted.. We decided to merge the tickets and let the kids all get whatever they wanted.. During the visit I managed to get a decent picture of Jaslynn (my four year old) riding with Chuck E. so that is my day 11 photo!
I can't believe the weekend is over already!

Day 10 / Project 365..

So I'm officially late in making this post.. Company is still here, and it's hard to get time to do anything these days.. Anyway, kind of a weird picture today.. I was driving over to my moms earlier this afternoon and all of the clouds looked weird.. Just seemed to sorta "roll" on for miles.. Of course it is dreary/rainy out, so I edited the original photo with photoshop..

And just for pure boredom, here's a photo I got yesterday (Friday).. It was going to be my photo yesterday, but figured it was a bit lame LOL..

I'm not sure if Taco Bell still use's this slogan.. But that is exactly what we did today. Anytime you ask my daughters when we are out, what they want to eat, they both scream Taco Bell.. Why? Beats me! I can think of many other place's I'd love to go lol.. Now I know people eat some weird stuff, I'm guilty of it myself.. But Jaslynn is the pickiest eater I have ever known.. And Taco's are no exception.. Taco, no lettuce, just cheese and meat.. I know this isn't so creative today, but my mind is shot, and I've had a really bad headache all darn day!! Hopefully tomorrow is better..

Day 8 / Project 365..

Here's my idea for today! I love that my (almost 11) year old lets me take her photo so easy.. Granted there are times she complains, but she sucks it up and smiles anyway lol. I haven't yet done a entry with JUST her yet, so here it is!! Right now we are stuck in the land of Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus, and The Jonas Brothers!! I myself, find it rather cool that shes into Miley/Hannah, because when I was her age I was such a fan of her dads.. LOL Remember Achy Breaky Heart?? Oh that song was played over and over and over again!! Thanks for looking!!

Day 7 / Project 365..

Day seven! It feels like I just started this, yet it feels like its been forever already lol.. So my plan for today, fell through. So my today photo idea, is gonna be put on hold until tomorrow.. Sorry I have to blind you all with another shot of me.. It was quick to edit, and fast to post lol.. I didn't think I would ever 1. be willing to take my self portrait, or 2. posting it here for who knows to see.. I can promise you, that this will probably more than likely, be the last one of me for a reallllly long time lol..

Day 6 / Project 365

Wow I'm late in posting mine for the day! Of course it's been one of the days from hell!! I can't wait for the day to come that my brother and his fiance come tell me they are moving out!! Don't get me wrong, I love my brother to pieces, but I love him when I don't live with him.. When him and his fiance, and their three kids aren't living here in my house, with me, my husband and my two daughters! What a mess it ends up being everyday!! Anyway today my 365 might seem a bit lame to many.. You see, this is where I spend alot of time, when I'm not at home lol. I love to travel, I love to just get in the car and ride, and ride.. One of my favorites, is to have no destination in mind, and just ride.... Sadly, my husband says we've got to trade my car in.. I know we do, I agree with him.. It's not cut out for the "family" car.. We need to get something that has a bigger backseat, and can hold more than just four riders (and with four riders its a tight fit!).. It's day 2 of raining outside, so the photo isn't that great. But I figured I needed to go ahead and get a photo, rain or shine..

Day 5 / Project 365..

So its Monday! That means its Back To School! Yesterday I was ready for school to start back. This morning however I'm not for many reasons.. I remind myself often, that with each school day not only is she getting older, but so am I! I don't like the idea of either happening to be honest lol. So anyway, my day 5 photo, shares with you one of the many things I did not miss over the break! Notice the second set of green lights in this photo. My driveway is on the right, right there at the second light.. This means before and after school, its damn near impossible to get out of the driveway! I hate it! This morning we were up and out the door by 7:20am so we didn't have to battle getting out much. Thanks to some dear sweet lady who let me pull out in front of her when the oncoming lane was stopped.. Mornings and afternoons here are always what I dread!!

Off to have what I hope is a great day! Hope you all have one as well!

(Side note: It's really foggy and damp outside, so of course the picture could have been better otherwise.)

There are four reasons in life I keep going. My day 3 photo, shares with you two of those reasons I wake up everyday!! One of the greatest joys in my life, is being a mother! A mother to, two of the most awesome girls ever.. Growing up I use to say I was going to be a Dr. When I turned 13 I decided what I wanted to do was be a Radio DJ. When I turned 17 I got pregnant.. At the time I wasn't so sure, but it what a blessing that was! It wasn't that easy, but it wasn't "the end of the world" either.. Being able to stay at home with my daughters, has been another amazing experience I will always cherish! So with that here is my number 3 photo. Me and my baby girls!

Well thankfully, last night I started feel a little bit better! I ended up ringing in the New Year with Kaeleigh and a very asleep Jaslynn! So I decided I'm going to do the Project 365 this year. I started months ago, but ended up giving up. This time I'm gonna keep up with it. If you don't know what the Project 365 is, just GOOGLE it. Plenty of links will come about it! So with that, here is my first photo! I selected this one, of all the photos I took after the strike of midnight, but I never want to forget how she looked, so peaceful sleeping.. Not a care in the world!

I also took the time to make a scrap page today..
I took a photo of Kaeleigh on 1/6/08 and took the last photo I took of her on December 25th and put them side by side on this LO. Something I will be sure to do every year from now on.

Hannah Say What?

Okay, I find this (fill in the blank with name of your own) " _____ Say What?!?!"So annoying! Yet My 11 year old daughter "K" says this quite often.. And she got it of course from her "fav" singer/actress in the world, Hannah Montana!! And while I was talking to my friend Fantacy today she shared with me this giveaway that is currently going on over at All American Mommy.

They are giving away a Disney by Washburn Hannah Montana Electric Guitar! This would make my 11 year old's world to get this!! All you have to do to register is go to All American Mommy's blog and leave a comment! Good Luck to all that enter!!

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I'm back to the world of blogging! (Oh what am I thinking! LOL).. I use to keep a blog at http://designing-moments.blogspot.com/ but my last post was Feb '07!
